The Rosenlaui glacier gorge has been inspiring all nature romantics for over 100 years. On its way from the glacier to the valley, the Weissenbach has cut deeply into the limestone and slate rocks along its course.
Massive waterfalls, romantic grottos, bizarre rock formations: Over thousands of years the glacier water has formed and continues to form a fantastic work of art from rock. The irrepressible power of water fascinates, awakens the philosopher in us and washes everyday life away. The Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge is a refreshing natural experience in the midst of a magnificent mountain world.
The Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge can be reached by car (subject to a fee) and by post bus (stop: Rosenlaui, Glacier Gorge).
The gorge is open daily from around mid-May to around mid-October. From May to September from 9 am to 6 pm and in October from 9 am to 5 pm.
